Last updated: September 04, 2021
At On Track Physiotherapy, we understand the challanges that everyone is experiencing as a result of COVID-19. We are committed to taking every measure possible to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone within the community.
Under current restrictions, allied health private practices should only provide face-to-face appointments for urgent clinical care that cannot be deferred. The delivery of routine face-to-face care is not permitted under current restrictions but can be provided via Telehealth. Please contact our clinic for Telehealth enquiries.
What are we doing?
As part of our COVID safe plan Our team will be following strict hygiene, physical distancing and business density limits.
All commonly used areas are being cleaned at more frequent intervals.
Our staff are trained in hygiene procedures to the standard as described by the Australian Government, Department of Health.
They are frequently washing their hands and utilizing provided hand sanitiser in commonly used areas and treatment rooms.
We’re changing all bed sheets, towels and pillow slips, and disinfecting treatment beds between every client, as we would normally do.
Personal Protective Equipment
Our staff are wearing face masks and eye protection as part of Tier 1 COVID-19 standard precautions.
Our chairs within the waiting room, and throughout the clinic are placed 1.5 metres apart.
All of our physiotherapists conduct their appointments in their own treatment rooms that follow business density limits.
We request all clients and visitors to keep a record of their visit to our clinic by checking in using the Victorian Government QR Code Service available throughout our clinic space.
In the event of an exposure risk we will contact you and let you know of the latest news available to us.
Prior to clients accessing the clinic a phone call or text message will be sent confirming they are COVID negative and symptom free. Otherwise they will be asked to cancel with no charge incurred.
Should any member of our team be unwell, all of their face-to-face appointments will be cancelled and a COVID swab test will be undertaken.
We are continuing to monitor the ever changing COVID-19 situation and we will update our policies where necessary moving forwards in order to provide the best care possible to our community.
